Biography

Jeremy hails from the Pacific Northwest where his heart for people was nurtured. He attended Seattle Pacific University where he studied Educational Ministry. He received his Master of Divinity from The King’s University and Seminary in Southern California and his Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. He met his bride and moved to Iowa in 2008. He attends Body of Christ Church where he serves as an associate pastor.

Jeremy enjoys time with his wife and three sons, through walks in the park with their dog, Nissi, a Cavapoo, playing board games such as Settlers of Catan, Carcassonne, and Dixit. He also likes baking bread, making breakfast for the family, and cooking his favorite Teriyaki Chicken. While living in Seattle, Jeremy attended Seattle Mariners games and enjoys watching the Sounders and the Seahawks. He also enjoys riding bikes, lifting weights, and reading about relationships, faith, and growth.

He is excited to collaborate with people for their personal growth and well-being!  He seeks to build a safe space through compassion, empathy, and trust. Jeremy understands the courage it takes to seek counseling and the stigma people sometimes carry with asking for help. He having been through counseling himself, discovered how helpful counseling is and the difference it can make.
